Indigenous Health

Within True’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health projects we seek to increase reproductive and sexual health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations, including those who identify as LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy.

Is It True? Program

Young people often seek information about sexuality, sex and sexual health. Is it True is an education, information and testing program developed for senior secondary school students. It provides simple facts about sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and the opportunity for young people to be tested.

Multicultural Week

REIMAGINE is a festival hosted by Multicultural Australia and offers a place for people of all communities to connect, create and celebrate our rich cultures and stories.

NAIDOC Week

True identifies NAIDOC Week as an opportunity to participate in activities that highlight and celebrate Indigenous people across Queensland and Australia and to support our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

National Reconciliation Week

The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2021 (NRW) is "More Than a Word".

O Week

O Week celebrates the introduction of university students into campus life. With this new lifestyle, new relationships and activities, comes different experiences for many students, some of which they may not be ready for. True offers students guidance and information.

Outreach Clinics

True's Outreach Clinics provide reproductive and sexual health services by expert clinicians to all people in rural, remote and regional locations across Queensland. True’s friendly female clinicians regularly visit the outback, in partnership with CheckUP.

Schoolies Week

Schoolies is a rite of passage for many teenagers graduating from high school in across Queensland and can open up a whole new world of experiences to navigate - away from home. True's aim is to offer students guidance and support around safe practices.
