Working with the Pasifika Women's Alliance (PWA)
By Iree Chow, PWA President

For Domestic Violence Prevention Awareness Month, PWA collaborated with True to host an educational workshop for Pasifika women living in Brisbane. This workshop brought together 20 women from the diverse islands of the Pacific including Solomon Islands, Samoa, Kiribati, Federated States of Micronesia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Fiji to talanoa [discuss, share ideas and exchange stories] on the topic of ‘Healthy Families & Relationships’.

Facilitated by True's Project Officer Dulcie Paina, women left empowered and equipped with skills to begin healthy and safe dialogues in their homes and communities.
