True delivers training to health professionals, interpreters and translators, and community workers on culturally safe SRH, including education and resources on FGM/C.

This online course gives an introduction to Female Genital Mutilation/ Cutting/ Circumcision (FGM/C) in Australia, to build capacity for health professionals to respond to women who have experienced FGM/C in their practice. Interpreters, community workers and educators may also find this module helpful.
This factsheet includes information on FGM/C language, where and why FGM/C is practiced, health consequences of FGM/C, culturally safe practice, and referral pathways in Queensland. This resource has been developed with the Culturally Responsive Health Advisory Group and community representatives and is not a clinical guideline.
