True awards QUT Prize

The 2020 Faculty of Health Student Awards as held at QUT and the Kelvin Grove campus in April. This year was a covid-safe event and very few people were allowed to attend. The True Prize for Increasing Cultural Awareness to Improve Sexual Health Outcomes for First Nations People was awarded to Rowan Oost, a Bachelor of Social Work/Bachelor of Human Services student with the highest
achievement in the unit, Working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and Communities.

The True Prize for Understanding Barriers in Accessing Reproductive and Sexual Health Services was awarded to Annabelle Whitehead-Broad a Bachelor of Public Health student who achieved the highest academic achievement in the unit, Health, Culture and Society.
