Course aims
- Create a safe and supportive environment to assist children’s healthy sexual development.
- Understand sexual development as a typical aspect of child development.
- Communicate with parents and carers about sexual development and personal safety.
- Talk to children and adults about bodies and relationships in a gradual, safe, healthy, and positive way.
- Apply best practice approaches in responding to disclosure or signs of sexual abuse.
- Understand best practice considerations for Comprehensive RSE that aligns with Curriculum.
