The well-being of our clients and staff is our priority. Due to COVID-19 we want to reassure you that we are responding and cooperating in line with Government updates.

Statement for all clients of our True Clinics

True regards the well-being of our clients and staff as a priority. True is continuing to operate in line with Government advice around COVID-19.

We would like to confirm that all True Clinics are open and will continue to operate as normal unless instructed otherwise by relevant authorities. Please note, True is not a general practice. We only provide services around reproductive and sexual health.

 

In light of the recent Greater Brisbane lockdown (Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton and Redlands) declared on the 29th March, travel to receive essential health care is still permitted. Our Windsor and Ipswich Clinics will remain open and will operate as usual with additional protocols. All clients are asked to wear a mask throughout the duration of their visit. Your reproductive and sexual health needs will still be met by our experienced staff.

 

If you have an upcoming clinic appointment at any of our clinics, and have been in any COVID-19 cluster zone or in any of the locations linked to the contact traceing alerts, we ask that you call our reception staff to advise them prior to your appointment. If you have an upcoming clinic appointment, are feeling unwell, and experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms below, we ask that you phone ahead to discuss with our reception staff. Please note depending on your circumstances, your appointment may need to be rescheduled. Telehealth is available for clients depending on your circumstance.

COVID-19 symptoms are: 

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Fatigue
  • Shortness of breath

Precautions

True continues to adhere to infectious disease protocols within all of our clinics. These include:

  • Hand sanitiser is available at reception and in consult rooms.
  • Masks are to be worn by clients during their consultation.
  • Our clinical staff and administration team will continue to where PPE.
  • For any client who has visited any COVID-19 cluster zone or any of the locations linked to the contact tracing alerts, they are encouraged to call reception before entering the clinic. 
  • For any client who has COVID-19 like symptoms, they are encouraged to call reception before entering the clinic.
  • For any client in the clinic waiting room who starts to feel ill, they should notify reception.
  • Our staff follow strict hand hygiene guidelines.
  • Where possible, we request that children not be brought to the clinic.
  • All reading materials and toys have been removed from reception. Magazines are available upon request.

As clients, your assistance in complying with the protocols suggested by the Government and notifying reception of any illness will assist us to ensure the safety and well-being of all.

True regards the well-being of our clients and staff as a priority. True is continuing to operate in line with Government advice around COVID-19.

 

In light of the recent Greater Brisbane lockdown declared on the 29th March (Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton and Redlands), our face-to-face courses, training, professional development and education scheduled to be delivered from 5pm Monday 29th March - 5pm Thursday 01st March will be rescheduled or migrated to online delivery where possible. If this impacts you or your organisation, our educators will be in contact with you. Your education needs will still be met by our experienced staff and many of our education services and courses are still open and will continue to operate as normal. 

 

Precautions

True has several infectious disease protocols that are currently in place across the organisation. These include:

  • Hand sanitiser available at reception and in course rooms.
  • For those clients who have travelled overseas we ask that you call reception in advance of your attendance.
  • For those clients who have travelled to any COVID-19 cluster zone or any of the locations linked to the contact tracing alerts, we ask that you call reception in advance of your attendance.
  • Similarly, any client who has symptoms are encouraged to call reception before entering the office.
  • All our course rooms follow strict social distancing protocols e.g tables and chairs are set apart further than normal. 
  • Where catered, course food is prepared by licensed caterers.
  • If you wish to wear a mask through the course, please do so.
  • If you are in the waiting room and start to feel ill, please notify reception.
  • Our staff follow strict hand hygiene guidelines.
  • We have removed all reading materials and toys from the reception area. Magazines are available upon request at reception.
  • If you need to cancel your attendance, please contact the course organiser. Please note that we do have a cancellation policy, however during this period we will be providing refunds or providing a credit to use for a future course.

Statement for all clients of our Child & Family Service

True regards the well-being of our customers and staff as a priority.

In light of the recent Greater Brisbane lockdown declared on the 29th March (Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton and Redlands), True remains open and is continuing to operate in line with Government advice around COVID-19 with additional protocols. 

  • If over the age of 12 years old, all clients are asked to hand sanitise and to wear a mask throughout the duration of their visit. 
  • All True staff will also be required to wear a mask at all times. 
  • Masks will be made available to all visitors and clients
  • If wearing a mask is confronting or not suitable for our clients, appointments can be deferred or a zoom session can be requested instead. 
  • All clients will be contacted prior to their upcoming appointment to ascertain if they have travelled to any COVID-19 cluster zone or any of the locations linked to the contact tracing alerts, and to explain our current COVID-19 protocols.

Statement for all clients of our Cairns Sexual Assault Service

Cairns Sexual Assault Service (CSAS) regards the well-being of our clients and staff as a priority. True is continuing to operate in line with Government advice around COVID-19.

CSAS has returned to face-to-face appointments in our Grafton Street office, Cairns. Some clients may still be supported via the telephone at the discretion of the CSAS manager. CSAS has a detailed COVID-19 management plan to ensure the safety and well-being of all who access our service. All clients are asked to wear a mask throughout the duration of their visit. Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment without prior arrangement with your counsellor.
