Over 200 specialist care visits to rural Queenslanders
True’s female clinicians continue to take their expertise in reproductive and sexual health to rural Queenslanders.
Since the program started in October 2016, over 200 visits have been completed, bringing specialist care in the areas of contraception, menopause, cervical screening, STI screens, breast health, antenatal care, hormonal issues and more, to 14 remote locations.
The clinics are funded by the Federal Government, with funding managed by CheckUP. True is contracted as the provider of the service delivery and the Program is run in co-operation with local service providers. The aim of the service is to ensure preventative care is within reach of every Queenslander.
