Are there aspiring migrant and refugee health workers in your service or area?

Share an opportunity with people of migrant and refugee background in your area.

Migrant and refugee background community members in Ipswich and Logan are invited to participate in free health literacy and career pathways training. The Health to Work program supports people from refugee and migrant backgrounds who have an interest in working in the Queensland healthcare system. Participants will increase their confidence in navigating health systems, increase their knowledge of reproductive and sexual health and enhance their employability within local health services.

We need your help! If you work in a health service or community centre, can you share the Health to Work program on your noticeboard (more information here)? If there is someone in your health service or community who you think might be interested, can you share this opportunity with them?

Applications are now open, closing 19 August 2018.
