Consumer Advisory Group

True’s Consumer Advisory Group is a small team of volunteer clients and clinic staff working towards improved care and client satisfaction in our clinics throughout Queensland.

We are a group of people who care about making everyone’s visit to our clinics a positive and professional experience, conducted in a friendly environment. Our aim is to work together to identify and resolve consumer issues, and discuss ways to improve the client experience in a friendly and social manner.

The group acts in an advisory capacity to True and takes on the job of providing feedback, participating in discussions, resolving issues and contributing ideas. This occurs predominantly online, utilising tools such as the discussion forums on True’s Consumer Advisory Group Portal, and via email.

Why join the group?

As a client member, you can:

  • Review brochures and information materials to make sure that they are easy to understand, appropriate and meet the needs of clients
  • Comment on proposed new services or changes to existing services, such as trading hours, regional reach, after-care follow up
  • Provide feedback on proposed new programs, such as services for remote clients
  • Identify ways to improve care and client satisfaction and provide practical ways to make this happen
  • Suggest ways to engage with our clients to create a friendly community

As a health professional, you can:

  • Facilitate the participation of our client members
  • Actively listen to the feedback from our client members
  • Work with other clinic staff to incorporate agreed initiatives from the advisory group
  • Identify ways to improve care and client satisfaction and provide practical ways to make this happen
  • Suggest ways to engage with our clients to create a friendly community

You don’t need any experience, other than being a past or present client, or a current member of staff. We would really appreciate a little bit of your time, your skills in coming up with practical solutions, and your willingness to help us create a better environment for our clients and staff.

Our aim is to work together to identify and resolve consumer issues, and discuss ways to improve the client experience in a friendly and social manner.

You can resign from the group at any time by emailing us to let us know, but we hope you will be a member for a long time to come!
