True’s Free Service for Under 25s

With funding generously provided by the Darling Downs West Moreton Primary Health Network (DDWMPHN), True is able to provide expert, nurse-led, reproductive and sexual health clinical services to young people under 25, in Ipswich and Toowoomba.

The service aims to increase screening rates for sexually transmitted infections (STI), improve access to treatment options and promote greater sexual health awareness and education in young people under 25.

As cost is often the primary impediment for this demographic to seek services, the funding allows True to fund all clients Under 25.

Friendly female nurses provide young people with information and consultations in the areas of:

  • Contraception, including Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) methods like Implanon and IUD insertions
