Professional Development courses available at Central Queensland University

True, in partnership with CQU, is offering three professional development courses on protecting children and young people from harm and supporting sexual development.

The courses develop knowledge regarding sexual behaviours of children and young people, ranging from those that are healthy and age appropriate, to those that are problematic or harmful and may indicate risk or sexual abuse. Students gain the necessary competencies to devise and implement strategies that protect young people from harm and maximise child safety.

The professional development courses include workbooks, tutorials, reflective journaling, case studies and response planning across an extensive range of behaviours and populations.

Enrollments are now open for courses starting in March 2018.
